About Flipns

A trust-first marketplace, already built

Flipns is an early-stage local marketplace for India. Explore the public product and contact the team privately for investment enquiries.

Flipns is an early-stage local marketplace where shops, resellers and individuals can reach buyers nearby. The website and Android app are available today.

Where we are

Flipns is early-stage: live on the web since August 2026 and on Google Play for Android since October 2026, with the iOS app on the way. We publish no user counts, no listing volumes and no revenue, because there are none worth publishing yet and a padded number is worse than a blank space.

The public product is available to try: publish a listing, explore nearby inventory, contact a seller and share a catalogue.

What is shipped

These customer features are available in the marketplace today.

  • Add clear photos and accurate details, choose your asking price and review your listing before publishing. Creating and publishing a listing is free.
  • Chat and offers — buyers and sellers can ask questions, negotiate and refer back to the agreed price
  • Check the verification badges, ratings, reviews and member-since information shown on a profile. A badge is a signal about the account, not a guarantee about an item or a transaction.
  • Two-sided ratings — buyers and sellers can leave feedback after a completed deal
  • Use reporting and blocking controls if something is wrong. Keep conversations in Flipns chat and check profiles, badges and reviews before arranging a deal.
  • Explore nearby listings on the map or by city and category. Public locations are approximate by default; sellers control whether to share an exact listing location.
  • Seller catalogues — a public page at each seller handle that collects everything they have published, with their ratings and verification
  • Every active listing and seller catalogue has a public link you can share. Buyers can open the link to see photos, asking prices, condition and seller details before contacting the seller.
  • Flipns focuses on local buying and selling. Listing is free, buyers and sellers communicate directly, and shops can share their catalogues through a public seller page.

The model: credits, not commission

Listing is free and Flipns takes no percentage of any sale. Sellers buy credits — one credit is one rupee — and spend them on visibility and a few metered services for a specific listing: 10 credits to feature it for a day, 50 for a week, 8 to bump it back to the top, 100 to publish a contact number on it, 0.25 to forward a buyer's message to WhatsApp or SMS.

Promotions are optional. Current prices and terms are shown in the app before a seller confirms a purchase.

Investment and operating information is shared privately in response to appropriate enquiries.

The market, stated plainly

Every active listing and seller catalogue has a public link you can share. Buyers can open the link to see photos, asking prices, condition and seller details before contacting the seller.

Flipns serves local sellers and buyers, including shops bringing their catalogues online. Growth depends on attracting useful listings and people who want to arrange local deals.

Talking to us

Frequently asked questions

Has Flipns launched?

Yes: the marketplace has been live at flipns.com since August 2026, and the Android app has been on Google Play since October 2026. The iOS app is on the way. It is early, which is why this site publishes no user, listing or revenue numbers. When there are figures worth reporting they will be published here with a date on them.

How does Flipns make money?

Sellers buy credits — one credit is one rupee — and spend them on optional visibility for a specific listing: 10 credits to feature it for a day, 8 to bump it to the top, plus metered services like message forwarding. Listing is free and Flipns takes no commission on sales.

Why no commission on transactions?

Because Flipns never touches the transaction. Buyers and sellers settle directly, so a commission would have to be enforced against off-platform settlement — the policing problem that makes most classifieds products worse for the people using them. Charging for visibility instead aligns revenue with what a seller actually wants.

The product is the pitch

Create an account and list something. It takes about a minute, and it will tell you more than a deck would.
