Flipns Guides
Selling

Create your first listing

Turn photos and a few accurate details into a listing buyers can find.

Start with accurate details and clear photos of what you want to list. Review the details before anything becomes public.

Create a listing on Flipns

Before you start

  1. 1Photograph

Show the actual item, details and condition.

  2. 2Review

Check the draft and choose your asking price.

  3. 3Publish

Give the item a public listing buyers can find.

  4. 4Chat

Answer questions and agree the details.

  5. 5Meet

Inspect the item and confirm payment directly.

  6. 6Mark sold

Keep your catalogue up to date after the deal.

Have clear photos, the item's condition, any faults, your asking price and the area where it is available. Photograph labels or model details when they help a buyer, but keep addresses, identity documents and account information out of the frame.

Create a listing on the website

  1. Open Sell and sign in or create an account.
  2. Choose a start option in Sell, or enter the listing details yourself.
  3. Check the title, category, description and condition against the actual item. Correct anything that does not match. Add the details a buyer would ask about, including damage and what is included.
  4. Set your asking price and confirm the item's location. The public location is approximate by default; check the location-sharing choices before publishing.
  5. Add clear photos. The first photo is the cover buyers see when browsing.
  6. Open Review & post, check the preview and choose Publish listing. If a required detail is missing, use Fix it or return to that step.

Your published listing has a link you can share. Publishing is free; optional promotions are separate. Publication does not guarantee a sale or inclusion in search-engine results.

List a property for rent

Choose the appropriate category under Real Estate — Rent. Describe the property, its area, availability, rent and payment period, deposit or other charges, and any important rental terms. Use current photos and complete the property details shown for your category. Check the Price / Rent field before publishing.

Keep the public location-sharing choice in mind. Discuss viewing arrangements with interested people in Flipns chat, and keep the listing current when the property is no longer available.

Post a job vacancy

Choose the appropriate category under Jobs. Give the role a clear title and describe the employer, work location, responsibilities, requirements, working arrangement and how to apply. State the salary and its payment period clearly; the price step is labelled Salary for jobs. Complete the category details shown, review the description and publish.

Answer applicant questions in Flipns chat and update the listing when the vacancy is filled.
