Trust you can actually inspect
Check profile badges, ratings and reviews before you arrange a deal. Use reporting and blocking controls if something is wrong.
The hard problem for any marketplace is not listing an item. It is getting two strangers comfortable enough to meet. Flipns solves that with signals a buyer can check before they message — and it is deliberate about which of those signals are guarantees and which are not.
At a glance
| Detail | What it means |
|---|---|
| Profile checks | Look for the badges shown on the account |
| Verification | Check available options and your request status in the app |
| Ratings | Buyers and sellers can rate completed deals |
| Reporting | Available on listings, profiles and conversations |
Read badges alongside the rest of the profile
Profile badges show account verification information. Check the badge shown on the account alongside its member-since date, ratings and reviews.
If you submit a verification request, follow the document instructions and check its status in your account. The app shows any applicable credit terms before you continue.
A badge is a signal about an account, not a guarantee about an item. Inspect what you are buying before paying.
Read feedback from completed deals
Buyers and sellers can rate each other after a completed deal and leave written feedback. Read reviews for useful context before arranging a meetup.
A member-since date helps you understand the history of an account, including one with few reviews.
Report a problem or block contact
Use the report option on a listing, profile or conversation if something appears wrong. Include clear information about the problem.
You can also block a person directly from their profile or the conversation. You do not need to wait for a report outcome to stop contact.
Choose what location you share
The public map shows an approximate area by default so buyers can judge whether a listing is nearby. Share an exact listing location only if you want to.
Agree a suitable public meeting place privately in chat, and avoid putting your home address in your description or photos.
Inspect the item and arrange payment directly
Flipns connects buyers and sellers. It does not process item payments, hold money in escrow or arrange delivery.
Meet in a public place, inspect the item and confirm payment yourself. Never share a one-time password, a UPI PIN or your account credentials.
